My name is Adam Prince. I am a sort of roving writer, designer, and educator who has yet to find a suitable geographic location to call home. I did settle down long enough to earn my MA in Urban Studies from the San Francisco Art Institute in 2010, where my work focused primarily on the intersections of ecological and cultural matters of concern in the context of prevailing developmental discourses. Since then, I have become increasingly preoccupied with urban food production in all of its varied and creative manifestations. Throughout all of this, I have devoted a great deal of consideration to the ways in which these material and historical practices might be increasingly democratized.

In addition to my research/writing, I coordinate a collaborative studio dedicated to the production of substantive social change through creative practices. Occasionally, I lecture on the intersections that inhere between the aforementioned practices.
