About me

For over fifteen years, I've helped design teams and business leaders build impactful processes, products, and services. My approach combines evidence and empathy to create transformative, human-centered experiences.

I'm currently Director of UX at Wunderman Thompson, where I shape and direct an exceptional team of UX designers and researchers, supporting their growth and development through mentorship and coaching. In addition to managing and mentoring, I contribute to fostering innovation and a human-centered mindset across the organization.

Before Wunderman Thompson, I worked as an interaction designer at Illumina, a global leader in genomics and life science technologies. Prior to Illumina, I cofounded and led Powerplant in 2012, a San Francisco-based studio specializing in design-led innovation, strategy, and new business concept development. Along the way, I've independently consulted with a range of clients such as enterprise organizations, startups, nonprofits, educational institutions, and more.

As an educator, I've developed curriculum and taught students to think holistically about digital products and services, and to work effectively in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.
